Northwest Rankin Cougar Baseball 2015 Season Outlook

The Cougar coaching staff is excited to begin the 2015 season.  The summer and fall workouts were intense.  The players have worked extremely hard and are ready to put that hard work on the field.  A lot of new faces will be on the diamond as we begin the season, as seven starters or guys who played a lot graduated last year.  The Cougars return four starters from the 2014 squad.  Returning are senior catchers Acy Owen and Zach Boone, senior shortstop Shelton Wallace, and senior pitcher Hunter Smith.  Cannon Gibbs is another returner who saw a good deal of playing time in 2014.  These five guys will be the leading force for the Cougars this season.
